Black Dating Websites - Which One Should You Use?

If you're a black single and you've looked around at the selection of black dating websites, you're probably a bit frustrated. Most of the mainstream dating sites don't really appeal to black people, so we usually end up checking out some of the exclusively black sites. Problem is, there are quite a few of them, and you don't want to waste your money on a membership with some site that's not going to help you meet somebody. These sites do work, I know because I met my fiance through one of the more popular black dating websites. The catch is that you need to know what to look for to find a good site. Here are the top 3 things that helped me choose the network where I met my fiance:

  1. Free Trial Membership - This is my number one rule for a reason. If you can't check out the site and see if it's going to work for you, why should you hand over any paper? A limited trial is fine, but you have to be able to browse the site, see if there are any girls or guys you want to try and chat up, and at least be able to send them a message. How else are you going to know if it's worth the cash?
  2. Good Messaging System - Not everyone wants to give up their email address, phone number, or instant messaging info right away. If the site's messaging is so bad that you can't even get to know someone without wanting to throw your keyboard out the window, there's no point to being there. You could have the best game in the world, but if their message system is down every time you try to talk to someone, you're getting nowhere.
  3. Clear Pictures - So many dating sites only allow these tiny pictures that don't give you any clue what the person you're talking to looks like, which can lead to wasted time and hurt feelings a lot of the time. People are picky about what they're attracted to, and if you can't judge whether or not the person you're talking to is your type, you could be wasting your time and theirs too. And that's not even mentioning what could happen if you meet up in person...
If you follow those tips, you should be OK. Just make sure that any black dating websites you sign up for meet those guidelines, and always remember to be careful about what kind of information you give to random people on the internet. Best of luck with your dating, and I hope you end up as happy as I am!
